Supporting Girls on the Run
We are proud to partner with Girls on the Run Sierras to support girls in the community through the February 2026 Girls on the Run Sierras Shoe Drive.
Throughout February, Great Basin Federal Credit Union will serve as a collection site for new athletic shoes to help ensure every girl can “…recognize their inner strength, increase their level of physical activity, imagine their possibilities, and confidently stand up for themselves and others,” according to the Girls on the Run Sierras website.
We invite members to donate NEW big kid athletic shoes (sizes 2–6) in one of the following ways:
- Purchase in-store and drop them off at any Great Basin FCU branch.
- Order online through Amazon, Target, or Walmart and include Great Basin FCU in the notes.
Donations will be accepted until February 28th!
