Donation Requests

Great Basin Federal Credit Union is passionate about taking an active role in the Washoe County community and supporting our membership and the organizations with which they are involved. In fact, “Community” is one of our Core Values. We are excited at the opportunity to consider helping your organization by way of donating funds, raffle/auction items, advertisements in programs, sponsorships, or other custom requests. We cannot accommodate all requests, but we do review them all very carefully with consideration of budget, timing, local-focus, impact on community and other various factors.

Limit on Requests

Only one request per organization can be made each calendar year.

Submission Criteria

There are fundamental parameters for all sponsorship/donation requests.  They are to be submitted:

  • via the request form below (phone calls and emails may be answered, but completing the form is still necessary);
  • at least four (4) weeks in advance of the event or donation/ad deadline;
  • with a Tax ID number included;
  • from an organization based within the state of Nevada and serving northern Nevada.

For organizations on deadline, all requests should be submitted no fewer than four weeks before said deadline to allow ample time for request receipt and delivery if approved. Finally, please be advised that a sent request does NOT ensure your organization will receive a donation.

Processing

Great Basin FCU will follow up with each organization that has submitted a request through this donation form.  At least three (3) weeks should be allowed for the purposes of processing.  While we appreciate the interest, we ask that you refrain from contacting us by phone in regards to your submission decision due to the high volume of requests received. All decisions concerning donations, sponsorships or ad-buys made by Great Basin FCU are final, and all items/donations will be available for pick up either by the date of the event or at an earlier juncture as arranged by both parties. With the above guidelines in mind, please fill out the following Donation Request Form completely and accurately; any incomplete requests will result in possible delay of the receipt or fulfillment of the request and decrease the likelihood of the request being confirmed.
