The length of the interview process varies depending on the type of position and the number of applicants that have applied. Here at Great Basin Federal Credit Union, we are committed to hiring only the very best.
Once you have submitted your application it will be looked over by a member of the management team. If you meet the initial qualifications, you will be contacted for a phone interview and may even be called to schedule an in-person interview. For more information about this process, click here.
Updates will come via email or phone so be sure that you have given us the correct contact information. We try not to keep you in the dark but if at any point you are curious about the status of your application just give us a call. Click here for our contact information.
You only get one chance to make a great first impression, and how you present yourself at your first interview truly sets the tone! Coming to your interview dressed in “business casual” attire is a pretty safe bet. For ladies this means slacks/skirts and a nice blouse, dresses and closed-toe shoes, and for gentlemen, slacks, a button-up shirt or polo and closed-toe shoes.
You’ll want to avoid jeans, tank-tops, sweatshirts/hoodies, casual shoes (such as flip flops, crocs, etc.), clothing items with holes, tears, etc. Remember, this is your first impression. Make it one that will last for the right reason!
Doing a little research before coming to your interview is always an excellent idea. You don’t need to know everything about us, but knowing as much as possible shows that you are truly invested in the process. Also, don’t be afraid to ask questions. Just as much as we want to be confident in you as a possible employee, we want you to be confident in us as a possible employer. Building that relationship starts at the interview. We want this to be a fit not only for our benefit, but for yours as well.
An updated copy of your resume is important! It should reflect accurate dates of employment, primary responsibilities, etc.
Of course! You are always welcome to re-apply if you see an open position you are interested in. We’d love to consider you in the future!
