Step 1: Check out our careers page and browse our current available positions. See one you are interested in? Click on it to check it out!

You will be redirected to a new page where you will be able to view the job description. From there you can click on “apply” or simply return to browse another open position.   

Step 2: Create an account to apply online. It’s easy! All you have to do is enter your first and last name, email address, and create a password.

Step 3: Fill out the online application and don’t forget to attach your resume.

Initial Phone Interview

If your experience and skills seem to be a match with the job opening, and the answers to the open ended questions indicate that your values seem to align with our culture at the credit union, you will be contacted for an initial phone interview. This is an opportunity for us to learn a little bit more about you and for you to ask any initial questions you may have about Great Basin Federal Credit Union. At this time you may also be scheduled for an in-person interview.

In-Person Interview

The in-person interview will be conducted by two or more members of the management team. Location of the interview is determined by the position applied for. During the interview you will be asked to sign forms authorizing us to proceed with a background check.

Offer of Employment

A member of the management team will call the selected candidate with a conditional employment offer. This offer is pending satisfactory findings of the background check. If the candidate accepts the job offer, Human Resources will begin the background check process. Once the background check is received, a member of the management team will call the candidate to set up a start date for employment.

First Day on the Job

We know that first days can be full of anxiety and nerves. Have no fear… your welcoming buddy is here! Your first day will be full of smiles, laughs and new faces. Your welcoming buddy will be there to introduce you to each and every member of the Great Basin family. Your buddy will be a great source of support during your first few months at the credit union.
