VISA® Debit/ATM Card

starWe’re pleased to offer VISA® Chip Technology!

Visa chip cards are not only more secure, they are also simple to use. Chip cards and terminals work together to protect in-store payments. A unique one-time code is needed for the transaction to be approved – a feature that is virtually impossible to replicate in a counterfeit card.


Visa Debit/ATM Card

 

Great Basin Federal Credit Union has a combined debit and ATM card in one. A GBFCU checking account in good standing must be maintained in order to have the Visa debit card.

You can use your Visa debit card at millions of locations worldwide; it is accepted at ATMs with the Cirrus, Star or CO-OP Network logos. There are 30,000+ CO-OP Network fee-free ATMs nationwide. Other ATM vendors may impose a fee. To locate fee-free ATM locations in your area or nationwide visit co-opatm.org.

For your convenience, cards can now be printed at any of our three branches while you wait! PINs are customizable and consist of any 4 digits of your choosing. You can change your PIN anytime by bringing your card into any of our three branches. If you are out of the area, it is still possible to receive your card and automated PIN via mail. For more information, please contact us.

NOTE: If you receive your Debit or Credit card in the mail, please be sure you activate it within 30 days. If the card is not activated in that time, we will block it for security purposes (if it’s not activated, we can assume perhaps the card got into the wrong hands). If the card is blocked, there is a fee to unblock it. Please refer to the fee schedule.
