As part of an effort to increase member awareness on a host of topics as well as remain compliant with federal regulations as they relate to a number of banking services, Great Basin Federal Credit Union automatically enrolls members in our email correspondence unless otherwise requested.
Certain programs and account types, by federal regulation, require email correspondence to members. For example, our e-statement enrolled members receive a monthly email to inform them that their e-statements are ready to be viewed. In order to remain in the program and qualify for a particular account type and its associated benefits, a member must continue to accept delivery of this notice monthly. If a participating member opts-out or reports these types of mailings as SPAM, he will be unenrolled from the program, account type may change and fees may be applied. By default, any member with a valid email address will receive promotional mailings from time to time. To unsubscribe from this type of mailing, please click the unsubscribe option at the bottom of the email you received and follow the prompts. This will not affect your account type or required emails; you will still receive statement notifications and disclosures via email unless you contact us to opt out of the program.
