What Are Your Means?

As a kickstart to our four week budgeting series, we found this article very real and useful. Yahoo Finance shares “Signs You’re Living Beyond Your Means”.

It’s not always fun to look at the facts and realize that you aren’t doing all you can to make the most of your financial situation. Whether you are living beyond your means or within your means, there is usually more you can do to be in charge of your money. The good news is – you can start today. We have rounded up some great advice and programs that may help you or someone in your family, and over the next month we will be sharing some stories and tips that can help you get on track with a budget, offer some tips for financial relief, and stay on target with a savings plan! If even one tip in this series helps someone, we have succeeded! Another resource and a great thing to keep in mind is that as a member of Great Basin Federal Credit Union, you always have access to a no-cost financial consultant that can offer solutions customized to your situation when it comes to saving, budgeting, retirement, etc.

See you back soon for the next scintillating entry in our budgeting series!
