Board Member Spotlight: Kathleen Plambeck

As you probably know, credit unions are financial cooperatives owned by the members that bank with them. For this month’s Board Member Spotlight, we would like to share with you a little bit about Kathleen, a volunteer for Great Basin Federal Credit Union’s supervisory committee.

Kathleen Plambeck has been a supervisory committee and board member with Great Basin Federal Credit Union since 1991. Kathleen is a certified internal auditor who has worked for the gaming and banking industries with over 20 years experience. Kathleen’s current position at Great Basin is Chair of the Supervisory Committee.

Mrs. Plambeck is a Reno Native who graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a degree in Accounting. Kathleen has worked for the Gaming Control Board, the MGM Grand, American Federal Savings and John Ascuaga’s Nugget. She currently is a Tax Preparer and Accountant at Wildcreek Business Services.

We are so thankful for all the hard work Kathleen puts in as a volunteer! Check out the rest of our blog for other Board Member Spotlights and other tidbits on everything from saving for the holiday’s to preparing your home for winter!
