Please join us for our annual Muscular Dystrophy Association Clover Drive during the months of February and March to benefit local children and families affected my neuromuscular diseases. All three branches will be selling clovers for $1 and $5 and all funds raised stay here in our own community. To participate, please visit your nearest branch or call 775.333.4228. In case you are unaware, MDA is a non-profit voluntary health agency dedicated to eradicating the over 40 neuromuscular diseases in our program of services and improving the quality of life of local individuals and families affected by these diseases here in Northern Nevada and Northeastern California. Some of the no-cost services we provide are: a one-week summer camp at Lake Tahoe for children ages six to eighteen; a clinic at Renown Health, South Meadows; support groups; help with the purchase and repair of wheelchairs, leg braces, and communication devices; medical equipment loan closet; and resource referral.
